The Well Women Centre is delighted to have been awarded funding from The National Lottery Community Fund which will allow us to grow, develop and enhance our casework service over the next 3 years. This project, Positive Impact Plus (PIP), will support women in Wakefield with multiple and complex needs and will enhance our ability to promote partnership working and the efficacy of multi-disciplinary care.
We are recruiting a Caseworker to work on this project to provide support for women to achieve meaningful and long-lasting change. This project and the PIP Caseworker will enhance our ability to provide and promote gender specific support for women and will have a focus on reaching out to women that find it difficult to come forward for support.
The PIP Caseworker will be supported by the Casework Team Leader, our wider casework team and the whole centre service leads and practitioners. This role offers an opportunity to someone who is excellent at building and maintaining trust with women that are navigating complicated and distressing life events. In this role you will offer flexible and responsive advocacy, emotional support and some psycho-educational 1:1 and group interventions.
