In summary the findings found:
• Numbers seen exceeded target levels over the course of the project, despite
experiencing set up issues in year 1
• Outcome measures exceed targets set at outset
• The reach into BAME communities has been demonstrably achieved
• Client feedback is overwhelmingly positive, highlighting additional and wider benefits
than the outcome measures set
• Stakeholder feedback highlighted added value was gained by those local services also
working with PIP clients. Learning from the gendered approach taken, and through the PIP
support making it easier for services to work with their client on their other presenting
needs
• WWC demonstrate that they listen and actively take a client centred approach
• The programme was agile in responding to clients needs, accessing and providing
wherever possible a holistic approach to delivery
• Maturity of WWC was highlighted through adopting a structured and forensic approach
to identifying, engaging and dealing with issues that affect service delivery – eg staff
welfare and burnout, ways of coping with demand dynamically.
